Cloudike Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and other applicable laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company processes users’ personal information lawfully and securely.

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Vpick service provided by the Company.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Membership Registration and Account Management

    • Member identification, identity verification, account creation, and management
    • Delivery of notices related to service use, handling of inquiries and complaints

  2. Service Provision and Operation

    • Upload and management of videos and images
    • Provision of AI-based video analysis and short-form production/editing features
    • Management of service usage records and service quality improvement

  3. Payment and Billing

    • Processing payments for paid services, billing, and refunds

  4. Marketing and Notifications

    • Providing information on events and promotions (only with prior consent)

2. Items of Personal Information Collected

The Company may collect the following personal information in the course of providing services:

  • Required Information

    • Email address, password
    • Service usage records, access logs, IP address, cookies

  • Optional Information

    • Name, company name, phone number
    • Payment information (payment method, transaction records, etc.) – when using paid services

  • Content-Related Information

    • Videos, images, text, and related metadata uploaded or submitted for processing by the user
    • Video content generated through short-form production
    • AI analysis result data (tagging, classification, statistical information, etc.)

※ The Company provides services on the premise that any content uploaded or submitted for processing by the user is either owned by the user or that the user has secured legitimate rights to use such content.

3. Methods of Collection

  • Information directly provided by users during membership registration and service use
  • Information automatically generated during service use (logs, cookies, etc.)

Cookies are used to improve service quality, and users may refuse cookie storage through browser settings.

(However, certain services may be restricted if cookies are disabled.)

4. External Platform Content Processing (Important)

If a user enters a content URL from a third-party platform such as YouTube or SNS, or uses the service based on external platform content, the user bears full responsibility for the copyright and usage rights of such content.

The Company does not verify the existence of copyright in external platform content and processes such content only temporarily within the scope necessary for service provision.

5. Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing of Processing

In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to third parties.
However, exceptions apply in the following cases:

  • Where the user has given prior consent
  • Where required by law or requested by investigative or administrative authorities in accordance with applicable laws

The Company may outsource the processing of personal information as follows for service provision:

  • Payment processing: NICE Payments Co., Ltd.
  • AI analysis and short-form production: External AI solution providers

※ When outsourcing, the Company enters into agreements to ensure safe management in accordance with applicable personal information protection laws.

6. Retention and Use Period

  • Retained during the service agreement period
  • Upon membership withdrawal or termination of the agreement, personal information is destroyed without delay, except where retention is required by applicable laws

Retention periods under applicable laws:

  • Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
  • Records related to payment and supply of goods/services: 5 years
  • Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

7. Procedures and Methods of Destruction

  • Electronic files: Permanently deleted using methods that make recovery impossible
  • Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

8. User Rights

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of personal information
  • Withdraw consent to AI analysis
  • Request deletion of uploaded or generated content

The Company will process such requests without delay after verifying the user’s identity.

9. Personal Information Protection Officer

The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer to handle inquiries related to personal information protection.

10. Effective Date

This Privacy Policy shall take effect on January 9, 2026.
